A combination of radiant systems in Venice, ideal comfort in a flat

In Venice, the renovation of a historic house overlooking Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo. The work, led by engineer Massimiliano Gorgosalice, overcame the technical challenges of a 15th-century building with a design that was attentive to the problems of the building site. For the heating systems, it opted for our products, managing to overcome the technical requirements thanks to the many solutions we offer.

For heating, the choice fell on radiant systems known for their advantages in terms of comfort, aesthetics and energy savings. On the ground floor, Cover HP 38 was installed, an underfloor radiant system that guarantees homogeneous heat and excellent thermal insulation performance with reduced footprint. On the intermediate floors, given the importance of reducing noise from footsteps, Acoustic 20 was chosen, a low-temperature underfloor radiant system with excellent acoustic performance that reduces the sound level from footsteps well below the legal limits.

The 15 mm thick Super D17 system was used to heat the attic, a system with low thickness (only 43 mm, excluding the cladding) and low thermal inertia capable of following internal thermal loads by switching on and off quickly. Finally, in the glazed stairwell a traditional B!KLIMAX wall and ceiling system ensures winter comfort in a small space that would otherwise be unsuitable for heating terminals.

The systems are coordinated by RDZ Wi electronic regulation, a control system that guarantees interior well-being, ideal comfort in every room, and reduced consumption, comparable to that of an energy class B home. The invisibility of the system has also allowed maximum freedom in the choice of finishes and interior design.
