Tailor-made comfort for a winery
Just the right level of humidity, ideal temperature, silence, charme.
A balance of elements specially designed to provide the perfect environment and microclimate for one of the first products of the table: wine.
Together with Studio Guzzini Engineering of Osimo (AN), we took up and overcame the exciting challenge of the Mazza family (owner of the Premiata shoe brand) to build a radiant system inside the Terra Premiata winery in the Marche hills of Montegiorgio (FM).
We come up with a solution characterised by a very high level of customisation designed to create the ideal climate in the barrique cellar, the place where the wine matures and is stored.
The system, which is perfectly integrated into the ceiling vaults and walls, consists of coils made from 1.0x1 mm PB pipework combined with technopolymer manifolds and embedded in earthenware plaster. To control humidity, the value of which must be within the 85% threshold, 11 RNW 214 built-in dehumidifiers were installed, located punctiformly over the entire surface, for more effective and capillary dehumidification, respecting the sought-after architecture of the premises.
