Underfloor heating system without screed for an atmospheric chalet in Aosta: the ideal climate that welcomes and envelops
In this characteristic chalet made of stone and wood in the charming resort of Champoluc, great emphasis was placed on cosy warmth, indoor comfort and energy efficiency.
A dry system was chosen for this.
In fact, the underfloor heating technology without wet concrete was perfectly suited to the renovation of this building and offered the following advantages:
- low thermal inertia enabled fast heating times in different environmental conditions
- quick and light laying that did not affect the wooden structure
- no screed, which avoided the need for complicated transportation
- having more space available while improving the aesthetics of the room.
